Specialists in process heating systems
Worldwide, the name Bertrams Heatec is associated with the safe transfer of process heat, particularly in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Our systems are used for the manufacture of artificial fibres, synthetic resins (melamine), caustic soda, aluminium oxide and dyestuffs, together with applications in the textile and food industries.

Most of these production operations require indirect heat transfer, the process heat
being conveyed from the fired heater to the process medium (final product) by means of a special thermal fluid, such as mineral oil. This technique ensures that a flammable end product cannot come into direct contactwith thefired heater. In addition, the final product is brought uniformly tothe desired process temperature of up to 600 ¡ãC without any local overheating.

The polymers of the future will be more environmentally acceptable than those we knowtoday,
but their manufacture will require greater heating capacities and evenhighertemperatures.
Today we are already prepared to meet this challenge.
